ABOUT GIRLS INC. OF GREATER PHILADELPHIA & SOUTHERN NEW JERSEYFounded in 1961 as Teen Aid, Inc. and affiliated with Girls Inc. since 2002, our mission is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. We achieve this mission by addressing the unique needs of girls ages 6-18 through research based programs, advocacy, education, and the development of mentoring relationships. Girls Inc. of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey serves over 2,400 girls annually.ABOUT GIRLS INC.Girls Inc. is a nonprofit organization with roots dating to 1864 and national status since 1945. Girls Inc. annually serves over 150,000 girls in over 1,200 sites in 350 cities across the United States and Canada.
