Girls With Gifts, Inc. (GWG) was founded in 2011, in order to inspire and empower young girls to recognize and develop their talents or gifts at an early age and to encourage them to use their gifts to contribute to society. Following the mantra "Reach Back, Pull Forward", GWG focuses on providing resources and mentorship for underserved girls who have an interest in the arts and entertainment. Once a girl becomes a mentee, she is paired with a qualified mentor with similar interests. The organization provides trainings, speaker/panel discussions, "day in the life" opportunities and other tools and support needed to help cultivate these young ladies' gifts. GWG's ultimate goal is to be a national mentorship program – not just an organization, but a movement! GWG and its members are committed to inspiring and empowering young girls, one "gift" at a time. Girls With Gifts, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization based out of Los Angeles, CA. All contributions to Girls With Gifts, Inc. are tax-deductible.
