Driven by the firm belief that if we train our girls to become women with passion and drive, we will change our societies, Girls With Roots was formed. Over time, we have devoted our efforts to ensure that our Caribbean girls develop into exemplary leaders of tomorrow. Equipped with the right resources and skills, Caribbean girls have the power to transform their lives, their communities and their countries.Since 2014, we have been working to educate young Caribbean girls about the importance of education, self-love and inspiring them to map out a future for themselves.Many obstacles can prevent girls from fulfilling their potential and becoming women who will change our societies. We believe however that special attention placed on training girls through education, design, development, and collaboration can empower them to become Caribbean women who live meaningful lives and who work to improve their families, communities, islands and Caribbean region.
