Girton College Feminist Society is dedicated to continuing the feminist legacy of Girton College, University of Cambridge, one of the first higher education institutions in the world created specifically for and by women. With such a strong history, ensuring that all women have a safe space to be heard and hold a sense of community is of the utmost importance. The society is strictly intersectional and provides a platform for discussion on gender based issues through various events, talks and forums. Girton Femsoc aims to empower students from all walks of life to educate themselves on issues regarding social justice and to inspire them to have the confidence to use their voices as a force for positive change.
