The two apartments are situated in a period property in the oldest part of La Charité, close to the river Loire and yet in the heart of the medieval city where most of the cultural events take place. A privileged position The traceable history of the town truly started in the XIth Century when the town's name was changed to La Charité because of the generosity shown by the good fathers "of the monastery". The town was previously called Seyr that is "the town in the sun". It is also in the XIth Century that the edification of the priory started and therefore it is when the town was truly born. Classified by UNESCO to the World Patrimony of Humanity under the banner of Chemins de Saint Jacques de Compostelle.
