Glass City Community Solar is a 501 (c) (3) committed to providing solar energy for Low Income families in Toledo Ohio. We work closely with many Toledo organizations and companies to identify opportunities to install solar power. These opportunities often require Glass City Community Solar to develop innovative business model to take advantage of solar incentives. Glass City Community Solar is currently working with the Lucas County Port Authority, The Department of Housing and Urban Development and The Department of Energy to create new financial tools to benefit the state of Ohio and its citizens.Our current work includes competing in the Solar in Your Community Challenge hosted through the Department of Energy.
