Glassroots Ventures are a seed stage fund and accelerator targeting entrepreneurial "Outliers" or individuals who typically exist outside of enterprise and traditional venture capital demographics.We define "Outliers" as exceptional human beings who are part of minority communities such as those built around race, gender, class, amongst many others.As a company our values revolve around cultivating and maintaining sustainable financial, entrepreneurial and social ecosystems for gifted and distinct individuals.Problem: Vast statistical evidence shows that venture capital is uniform in their cultural demographics. A whole new underground scene of brilliant, highly creative innovators are being overlooked with no, or limited access to networks, education systems and programs that support enterprise growth.Solution: Glassroots Ventures aims to tip this balance by accelerating and funding those on reside on the fringes of this current entrepreneurial landscape. Putting a focus on performance will encourage investors to have a more balanced portfolio. Incorporating cultural and social differences at the heart of a model will deliver investor returns by effectively balancing the benefits of investing with the rewards of social impact.By using an innovative selection process focused on the psychology behind the product we will ensure our standards are both optimal through the fund and accelerator.
