Glendeer Pet Farm is an award winning 6 acre open farm with another 6 acre nature walk path. The O'Connell family opened their gates to the public in 1991 and their collection of animals has grown to over 50 species of animals and birds. Located just off the N6 motorway just 5 miles from Athlone town, Glendeer Pet Farm is a must see when you are in the area. Children love the excitement and the adventure of a visit to Glendeer.
