GLISA North America, as official organizers of the North America Outgames, is the preeminent organization working to achieve fair play and equality of life for LGBTQI members throughout North America and across the world. GLISA North America belongs to a consortium of five continental associations which exist to address the different treatment and unique challenges facing GLBTQI sport movement in each region. Although each with its own independent governance structure, the continental associations work in unision under the umbrella of GLISA International to promote GLBTQI recognition and equality in sports.
