Global Affairs is an international, wholesale company for colourful and imaginative toys, accessories and presents for babies and children. The company was founded in 1998 by Annette Klein Bog and is located in Amsterdam. Her dedicated team develops and produces a high quality and sustainable collection in accordance with fair trade principles.Marije Couprie is our in-house designer, in charge of developing the Global Affairs collection. This collection consists mainly of soft toys (knitted, crocheted, stitched and woven fabrics), fashion- and hair accessories for children and felt decoration.We are proud to say that in the meantime we sell our collection to retailers all over the world. These include small independent boutiques, largewarehouses and hotels, but also famous museums such as TATE Britain/Modern, Musée Fondation Louis Vuitton, Centre Pompidou, Louisiana Musueum of Modern Art in Denmark.Besides producing our own collection, we also develop bespoke products for private label customers (i.e. museums, educational groups and zoos).Either we personalize items from our own collection (adjusted design, own logo and packaging) or we guide the whole process from the drawing board to a final product with barcode ready to be sold. Examples of private label customers are international museums such as the Van Gogh Museum, Musée d'Orsay and TATE Britain, and retailer chain stores such as Dille & Kamille.LicenceTogether with our licence partners Mercis, Rubinsteinand the Van Gogh Museum we develop colourfulproducts based on famous persons and characterslike Van Gogh and Miffy and stories such asThe Mouse Mansion and The Daily Fable.The products are developed with due respect forthe original designs, but on the other hand are givennew definition and lustre.
