Global Case Challenge Details
The Virginia Tech Global Case Challenge, held virtually for 2021, offers elite student teams from Virginia Tech and international universities outside of the United States the opportunity to present solutions to real world industry problems. Three companies, from varying industries, present cases or written details of their company's challenge or opportunity, to which students will strive to develop the best solution within a specified time frame. Student solutions should be research driven and provide scalable solutions which have the potential to be implemented by each respective company. A finalist will be chosen in each of the three categories, and one overall winner will receive a $40,000 cash prize and the opportunity for their idea to be implemented and create lasting industry impact!Additionally, it provides students the time to virtually network and learn from business leaders, game changers, and top industry leaders as the program runs in correlation with The Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center's Game Changers 2021 event.
