G|D opened its Cairo office in 2014 to cater to the growing design demands in the region. Given the background that Arch. Sherif El Shawy is the founder of and key person at G|D, with a track record both in the Gulf regain and Egypt. Representing an obvious rigid foundation for G|D is his about 30 years of consulting, operational and business development experience in architecture, engineering and construction management. Our goal, is to understand the nature of spaces required by the client and mold them into reality. «attention to detail» is our passion, quality is our style. Designing to us, is about research and a creative brainstorming process supported by a long practical experience, knowledge and deep understanding of both tradition and global styles. Our trademark is our deep interest in styles, combined with our commitment to every project. We are energetic and dedicated to take on new challenges. We have the ability to tackle the full range of an architectural, interior design package; from conceptual design and space planning, construction documents through site supervision practice at construction stages. G|D continue to explore new ways of delivering innovative solutions in design, not as an abstract exercise in combining shapes, forms and materials, but rather as a complete problem solving and thought process. The firm consists of a diverse group of associate talented design professionals in all trades, with mega projects practical background and exposure developing innovate solutions with every project, yet maintaining international standards of commitment.
