The GEAC is an accrediting body for schools and colleges, both online and physical, around the world. We accredit based on factors inclusive of content delivery, instruction, curriculum design as well as components such as social and emotional learning and (for physical schools) aspects such as facility management and health & welfare.GEAC accreditation is open for any school or college around the world to join. In order to obtain GEAC accreditation, you must meet our legislation for all of our general standards and standards specific to your school type. Each standard is assessed separately, so you can apply for them together or one after another. If you meet legislation for that standard, you will be listed as compliant within that standard. Once you are compliant in all standards relevant to your school type, you will be granted official accreditation. Following your school's accreditation, you may select courses for approval. For each course, you will need to include a detailed syllabus, assessments and a sample lesson. If your course meets our rigor and specific subject-area requirements, the course will be approved. All approved courses at all GEAC accredited schools will be published and sent out to member schools and colleges on a yearly basis.
