The Global Energy and Innovation Institute (Ei2) is an independent, public-private partnership with George Mason University. Our mission is to develop and promote research and policy initiatives that advance the low carbon, electrified economy in the United States and Commonwealth of Virginia.The Ei2 was established in August 2016 to build a platform for industry, academia, and government to meet and collaborate on clean energy solutions. Grid innovation is our core theme.
