Global Investor's Circles Details
The Global Investor's Circle (GIC) is intended to be a society at the University of Exeter for students who are interested in investing and starting an international business. Our society will be open to people of all backgrounds, from students with large portfolios to those who have not yet begun. Students who have started businesses or are thinking of starting a business are all welcome. Our society offers opportunities to learn from other students and industry experts about ways to begin investing, starting businesses, or to diversify and expand their investments or business. The founding members come from a diverse background. We are from China, Russia, Singapore, India, Thailand, Korea and the UK. We very much want our members to be able to pursue investment and business opportunities outside the UK by gaining valuable advice, creating business connections, and making friends from across the globe. In addition to this we plan to have a variety of social events, including collaborations with other societies and bi-monthly meet-ups. The events will provide members an opportunity to discuss investing or meet like-minded individuals.
