Global Leaders is a 501c3 nonprofit organization based in Northern Colorado with an office in Northern California.Our mission is that through social, educational, and environmental service Global Leaders empowers students to create sustainable change at home and abroad.Global Leaders is a yearlong experience that is designed to educate students beyond the four walls of a classroom. The goal for Global Leaders' participants is to become locally and globally active citizens by learning from real-world applications and experiences. Global Leaders' students acquire the skills necessary to become effective and innovative leaders by organizing and participating in multiple local service-learning opportunities. These local service-learning opportunities mirror the projects students work on during a two week cultural immersion trips to either Guatemala or Ghana. After their Global Leaders experience, students are empowered to be a part of creating just and sustainable change both locally and abroad.
