The GSRA is a professional body designed to offer expert evaluations of startups, prior to them seeking investment opportunities. The organization comprises a global panel of experts from various industries, who evaluate and critique a multitude of pre-defined pillars within the business in order to rate their chances of success in the given market. Upon receiving the final rating from their allocated industry expert, a digital license will be issued, and also shared on the GSRA website.Why is the GSRA needed? There is an ongoing disconnect between startup entrepreneurs' needs and those of the investor. Too many funded startups fail to succeed before a return on investment is even made. Many startups seek local investment from a small pool of potential investors in their current market but struggle to reach opportunities further afield, due to the lack of assurance and understanding of the business from the investor perspective.
