The Global Strategic Asset Consortium (GSAC) focuses on four macro areas: • Mining • Energy • Forestry • Water The mission statement of the GMAC is: To serve as a global bridge between governments, industry, academia, and institutions in pursuit of superior sovereign strategic asset management. To maintain a standardized, transparent marketplace with an unsurpassed degree of excellence for the exchange of strategic assets throughout the world. The GSAC is a dynamic forum comprised of senior leaders throughout the world who have a vested interest in the proper management of the most important assets each country possesses. The principal objective is to serve government leaders by way of GSAC's Governance Advisory Council. This body benefits from the fusion of knowledge from experts within industry, academia, institutions, and non-government organizations. To further enhance the understanding of the myriad dimensions which accompany the management of strategic assets, the GSAC has created the Institute of Strategic Asset Studies (ISAS). The ISAS consists of research fellows who, as an integrated body, represent some of the best minds of natural resource study in the world. Through the GSAC's Sovereign Strategic Asset Exchange, we are able to offer a standardized and wholly transparent marketplace which ultimately brings greater simplicity by assisting in the exhaustion of all remedies when an asset is deemed ready for outside investment.
