Company Profile GYC is a open source software initiative that seeks to provide microfinance institutions with technology. This technology will come in the form of a suite of applications that are geared towards helping MFIs to execute their business processes more effectively. The open source framework of the technology will cater to the specific aspects of the MFIs lending processes. Among the other benefits of open source technology, MFIs will be afforded the opportunity to alter the source code to the software to better meet the constraints of their organization. GYC will be developing a suite of softare applications based on an open mobile banking standard and software implementation. The latter will be freely available and installable on any mobile phone. More Specifically, GYC's software will afford MFIs the opportunity to transform their business operations by adopting a re-engineered Microfinance process enabled by a suite of low-cost accessible mobile applications that will have been demonstrated to significantly improve the operating efficiency and scalability of the Microfinance process. Launch pilot project with GYC's university and MFI partners over the next 9-12 months.
