Global Youth Leadership Academy (GYLA) was founded in 2016. GYLA combines creativity, leadership, and entrepreneurship to tackle major social and environmental issues. GYLA works on many different levels to achieve positive social change – including advocacy, research, and policy influence as well as developing some innovative learning and training programs for young people. The purpose of GYLA is to inspire and empower youth as future leaders for social change and global engagement in the achievement of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. GYLA is a unique platform where young people can dialogue with and learn from global successful leaders; it is a cradle where young people can be nurtured to grow and become future leaders, and it also aims to unleash young people's inner sources of new growth potential and achieve new levels of personal fulfilment.
