Global2030 provides unbiased, factual information and recommendations on the current most important global challenges. It is a project by a non-profit organization in Berlin (Germany) and was previously known as Global2015. WHAT WE DO AND HOW YOU CAN APPLY TO BE AN ADVISOR, INTERN OR VOLUNTEERGlobal2030 focusses on the biggest global challenges, identified exclusively by using data on impacts to human health and life, the environment, and the economy. Global2030 also works to encourage action on related international commitments made by world leaders to ensure goals on sustainable development are achieved. Most of these are included in the United Nation's (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We publish reports on progress made on tackling these global challenges and highlight the areas where more attention may be needed. These reports are sent directly to heads of governments or states, of relevant UN bodies and of business companies.Global2030 is independent and non-commercial, working under the umbrella organization of Global Challenges Initiative e.V., and is run by an international team of aspiring individuals with a wide range of academic backgrounds. HOW TO APPLYGlobal2030 is interested in ad-hoc exchanges of expertise on the most important global challenges and the methods of identifying and addressing them. The organization also offers volunteering placements and internship opportunities - in particular for those with expertise in our areas of work. Applications are welcome all year round.
