In an effort to bridge the gap between young RC hobbyists/aeromodellers and the aerospace industry, Glorod Avionics Pvt. Ltd. (GAPL) was launched to design, develop and manufacture R/C Scale Model Aircrafts, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs)/ Drones. We supply/manufacture remotely operated aircrafts/drones for hobbyists, educational institutions and organizations involved with research and development Some of our major clients are NIAT (Naval Institute of Aeronautical Technology), Southern Naval Command, Kochi, NCC Air Units, NIT Calicut, College of Engineering Trivandrum & Mar Athanasius College of Engineering Kothamangalam for their Aeromodelling requirements, CSIR for their research and development work & Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST, Thiruvananthapuram) for supply for their drone related research/experiments.PRODUCTSOur products range from Chuck/Catapult Gliders & Rubber Powered Airplanes for amateur hobbyists/aeromodellers to kits meant for professional Model Aircraft Flyers. These are laser cut kits for building Radio Controlled Aircrafts from scratch, Almost Ready to Fly (ARF), Ready to Fly (RTF), Multi-rotor Drones. These products range in use from real-time surveillance, R&D, Education & Aeromodelling thus giving children and adults alike an opportunity to learn and enhance their life skills.MANUFACTURING UNITOur manufacturing unit is fully equipped to produce every critical component in an RC Aircraft.
