In the spirit of Operation Reach All (ORA) the ago Oluwa Area Home Fellowship of Union Baptist Church, Osogbo came to be born as a local Baptist Church on the 16th June, 1996. The first service was held at the residence of Dr. H P A Adedokun. Leading the first service was the Pastor of Union Baptist Church, Revd. Dr. Olumide Kehinde with Papa Rev. J. A. Ebo Rtd, Pa. On. J. D. Fajehinsan, Dn. Bisi Fadeyi and Mr. Emmanuel Akande- Chairman Evangelism of Union Baptist Church. The theme of the message brought by Rev. E. O. Kehinde of the mother church was "ON THIS ROCK, I WILL BUILD MY CHURCH" taken from MATT. 16: 13-18. . It is worthy of note that the residence of Late Dr. H. P. A. Adedokun accommodated the Church from 16th June 1996 until December 21st 1997 (18 months) when the church moved to the permanent location. At the inception, the mother church extended a call immediately to Pastor M. A. Olusina (himself a member of Union Baptist Church) to lead the Church. The Ministry of the Church moved forward during in the pastorate of Rev. Olusina until he left in 2002. The baton of leadership fell on Rev. S. O. Oluwadamilare who helped the church to consolidate the Education Ministry of the Church. He led the Church between 2002 to December 2004. In January 2005, the Church constituted the Pulpit Committee that was chaired by Late Dn. Jide Akinlabi. It was this Committee that led the church to call Pastor Femi Fadun on the 15th June 2005. Since the assumption of the pastor, Rev. Femi Fadun has contributed to the growth of the Church. One of the milestone achievements is the historic ordination of the first set of servant leaders called DEACONS OF GLORY BAPTIST CHURCH today. To God Be the.Glory.
