Glucid Innovations was founded in October 2013 to translate a unique, optical glucose sensing technology developed in a Texas A&M research lab into a product that can change the way diabetes is managed. This patent-pending technology could enable individuals to continuously track their blood glucose levels over longer periods of time with fewer calibrations as compared to similar continuous glucose monitors (CGMs), increasing patient compliance and improving clinical outcomes.
