Our Mission: Go Beyond enables youth in the Omaha area to develop confidence, build respect, and discover their full potential.For over 40 years Go Beyond (formerly Buford Foundation/Camp Confidence) has changed the lives of young people through our leadership programming, with the peaks of our students' year together being extraordinary trips with inspiring counselors to our Centennial, WY, ranch and then to our Grand Tetons mountain camp.Through our decades serving students in the Omaha and Council Bluffs area we have championed Leadership Through Nature, strength through community, hope through service, the impact of respect, and we have challenged youth to grow by opening the adventure of the American West.We are people of every background coming together through fully-funded scholarships, and we return to our communities as leaders who will change our families, neighborhoods and the world around us for the better wherever we are. With a long history of connecting youth to nature, our programming has grown in service to our students and community. Our roots will always be confidence, growth and leadership through the challenges of our Wyoming camps - and from our expertise earned through the decades we recognized the incredible need for our programs' impact . To grow our participants' skills and experiences, we expanded to be a year-long program filled with opportunities for students to spend even more time outside and in the community. Additional activities include mindfulness, environmental education, scientific engagement and community service. With zero cost to participants or their families, and providing support with necessary outdoor gear, supplies, or transportation as needed - we are both truly unique and life-changing in our effectiveness.
