Gobbler Knob Longrifles are patterned after rifles built during the "Golden Age" of the Pennsylvania longrifle, which is generally considered to be from 1775 to 1825. Instead of building an exact copy, I prefer to be influenced by the myriad of artisans from this period and in the process, create a rifle that reflects the best this era has to offer. The goal at Gobbler Knob Longrifles is to produce a longrifle, which will be a pleasure to shoot, a sight to behold, and even more affordable than you would think."
