I wrote my first short story when I was 5. It was about a little bear who got lost in the woods and what it lacked in character development, it made up for with kick butt illustrations. I've always had the bug. I spent hours not paying attention in class so I could write short stories to entertain my friends and family. In college, I finally decided to make it official with a degree in English, emphasizing a writing track. As an adult I've found it difficult to break into traditional publishing and so I decided that I would make my own way. But it isn't enough to make my own way. I want to pave the way for others as well. Authors and creators deserve to be heard, which is why I've created Goddard Literary and Publishing.
