GoGreen is a tokenized app that promotes sustainable mobility in urban settings.Since September 2021, GoGreen has been incubated in the Àrea Tallers at the Pompeu Fabra university in Barcelona and won the 2nd prize at the Las Rozas Blockchain Hackathon in June 2021.ProblemPrivate motorized combustion vehicles are the main source of pollution in most cities around the globe. In Spain, 11% of the fatalities every year are caused by pollution.SolutionGoGreen will foment the use of sustainable infrastructures by rewarding users with tokens for their positive behaviours and support a green civil movement.InnovationUsers will be able to redeem their platform native tokens against vouchers for goods and services in local businesses and organisations, thus creating a circular economy. Blockchain's intrinsic qualities will provide transparency, accountability and hence create trust and responsibility.
