The Gold Coast Performance Centre, formally the Sports Super Centre, is a facility owned and operated by the Queensland Department of Education. The world-class facility was an official training and accommodation provider for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games and is recognised as a Centre of Sporting Excellence. The facility has a track and field, hockey pitch, beach volleyball courts, 2 pools, unique 600sqm open aired gym, accommodation and catering and caters for the local community, schools, travelling teams and guests. With a community membership base of over 2500 people and annual guest patronage of approximately 200,000 people the multi-functional facility is the pinnacle of sporting venues for health, fitness and wellness on the Gold Coast.
