Nonprofit Organization Management - Adelaide, South Australia, Australia
Gold Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation which provides holistic support for young people with Asperger Syndrome and their families. We don't just deliver programs; we go beyond and provide a ‘Centre' where children and their families can engage so they no longer have to "go it alone." We create a safe, community based network where young people with Asperger's can thrive and "shine like GOLD!" We tap into the hearts and minds of young people and their families to empower them to live full and engaging lives. We find new and better ways to drive real social and community impact in this space. We nurture each young person to build Emotional Intelligence, Empathy and Self Awareness, hallmarks of true leadership in today's world. What we do:• Provide a place of belonging for young people with Asperger Syndrome and their families so they "feel safe".• Provide Social Skills Training Programs for young people 8 - 14 years, enabling them to live "full and engaging lives".• Facilitate a Youth Group for young people aged between 12 – 20 years "enabling them to thrive".• Hold fun events for the whole family to create a "sense of belonging".• Provide seminars and workshops for carers, parents and their families "enabling them to learn".• Act as a place of contact, support and resources for young people with Asperger Syndrome and their families.Contact Connor Pangallo on 0455 888 154 or visit our website below.
