Gold in the Net is recognized as a world leader in setting the standards for the development of hockey goaltenders. Our dominant presence spans across not only all of Canada, but includes a franchise in Finland. The company also boasts the world's largest and most comprehensive instructional DVD series. As a company, Gold in the Net facilitates 34 weeks of summer camps worldwide, working with an excess of 2,000 goaltenders in the summer time alone.Perry Elderbroom founded Gold in the Net in 1986 and has helped to evolve the goalie position into what you see today ever since. Gold in the Net is the first hockey school to create and implement a Mental Training Course to address the important issue of mental training for goalies. Combined with an on-ice element it has three classroom settings each day to understand theories, practical and a daily debrief. It allows the goalie not only to understand what mental training is but helps guide them through the process of creating templates that will assist them in continuing there development on there own.Gold in the Net has state of the art Real Ice Training Centers in Alberta and Ontario. These mini Real Ice Training Centers are specifically designed to train goaltenders.Our NHL alumni consist of Founder, President and CEO, Perry Elderbroom, a former goaltending coach for the Columbus Blue Jackets; Henrik Lundqvist of the New York Rangers; Robin Lehner of the NY Islanders; Kari Lehtonen formerly of the Dallas Stars; Karri Ramo formerly of the Calgary Flames; Antero Niittymaki formerly of the Philedelphia Flyers; Fredrik Norrena formerly of the Columbus Blue Jackets; and David LeNeveu formerly of the New York Rangers.
