A Little About UsCaring Hearts, Touching LivesGolden Hearts Touching Lives Initiative is a registered NGO run by a diverse group of well meaning Nigerians who feel that the disconnect between the well–to-do and the have-nots in the society can be addressed through individuals, corporate organisations and the Government. All members of GHTLI are successful in their various professions / occupations and no member draws a salary from the Initiative. Rather, most of our projects are funded by Golden Hearts members. We hope to touch more lives with the support of individuals, corporate organisations and the Government. GHTLI believes that if you are ABLE, you have a duty to help the Challenged and Underprivileged. These challenges can be intellectual, physical, social or financial.OUR FOCUSTo provide support for the less privileged and physically challenged children. However, Golden Hearts may also provide aid from time to time in the areas of support to orphanages, the under privileged and the destitute, sponsorship of awareness programmes on special needs conditions in children and sponsorship of training programmes for teaches and carers of the physically challenged.OUR MISSIONTo use available resources (intellectual, social and material) to develop and sustain initiatives that would give relevant support to vulnerable groups in society, especially children with challenges; to help provide necessary advocacy, opportunities and structures (physical and social) that would give poor and challenged people a sense of belonging in the society; and to helpthem actualise their potentials.OUR VISIONTo become builders of an inclusive society where various disadvantaged groups, especially children with challenges are given relevant support and services that enable them co-exist happily with the rest of the society
