Always fresh.Golden Valley Produce was established in 1984 and its original name was Gonzalez Produce. It was created by an amibitous man Salvador Gonzalez, ready to tackle entrepreneurship. He immigrated from Mexico when he was 23 years old with his wife Angela. He worked several different jobs before starting his own business. He worked jobs that did not generate enough money to afford the daily necessities to support his then family of six. It then grew to a family of 10 by the end of 1992. He began soley by selling wholesale cantoulope to local markets near his hometown. He quickly realized this was a way for him to get his family ahead. Salvador's love for his business allowed him to expand through the years and even convinced his sons, Salvador Jr., Antonio, Rosendo, and Armando to join him, while his son Carlos started his own distributing business. Golden Valley Produce distributes wholesale seasonal produce. Our main concern is meeting our customers needs; which leads us to provide affordable locally fresh produce grown in California!
