We opened a craft cocktail and beer bar 8 months ago. It's different from most other cocktail bars in that it has a very laid back vibe, it's not stuffy or pretentious, yet our cocktails are on point. We have a great customer basis and a location that sets us apart from every other bar in Salt Lake. Our staff is solid and they do a great job engaging with the customers. The kitchen puts out an excellent menu, it's not your typical bar food. We don't have a large kitchen so all of our meats are cooked via Sous Vide method. My husband invested all the money he made through his military service and we did not leave enough for operating costs when the market is slow. This is where we are at now. We are making enough to skim by but need capital to grow. Our ultimate goal being to franchise.
