Food & Beverages - Sacramento, California, United States
Everything you eat has a story to tell. At Goodful, we are here to make that story taste and feel good. Our concept is simple - good ingredients, grown by good people, cooked in a good way. That's Goodful. Goodful is a Sacramento-based, fast slow food restaurant, born from the idea that healthy, organic meals should taste good and be available – and affordable – to everyone, every day. Slated to open in 2019, Goodful's menu presents a California-styled fusion of Vietnamese, Mexican, and French cuisines. There's baked rosemary chicken and crème fraîche guac in your tacos served with a side of blistered shishito peppers. We sprinkled bright Vietnamese herbs on your roasted provençal veggies and topped your slow-roasted, wild Alaskan salmon with Herbes de Provence butter sauce. Thinly sliced, grassfed beef, organic micro greens, and a pinch of fresh ginger fill your rice bowl. And that's just the teaser. We're having fun with our food. Even more, we're taking every detail from farm-to-fork to a new level of transparency. Our produce is 100% organic, our beef is grassfed, our fish is sustainable, our chicken is free range. Everything is locally sourced from Northern California's most responsible suppliers - many of which are less than 100 miles from us. And, because we are only as good(ful) as the partners that make us special, we've carefully selected every Goodful supplier each with their own unique food story. Some of our favorites include a third-generation specialty creamery in Sonoma; a 54-year organic Japanese produce farm in Watsonville; and a world-renowned, free-range, organic chicken ranch in the San Joaquin Valley. Do good for your body. Do good for your community. Do good for your Earth. Eat Goodful.
