Hi, my name is Giel Jan Koek and I am the founder of Goose Aviation. I have been active in the aviation community for more than ten years and have worked in various roles in the aviation industry. Outside of work I like to spend time flying myself in small single engine pistons. I started Goose Aviation to create a place to address the ideas that I get while working in aviation. According to many players in the field the demand for aviation will rise steeply in the future. Nevertheless, aviation is also confronted with an increasing amount of challenges. Let's call them growing pains. Airports become congested, skies become crowded and polluted and passengers have lost their patience with the long waiting times at airports. On this page I will give my views on how companies and governments deal with these challenges and wil try to contribute to the debate about the best way forward.
