Gorgie City Farm is a free-entry city farm. It serves as a unique outdoor resource offering hands on educational and learning opportunities for all our visitors and offers educational tours and workshops for organised groups. We also promote community development, environmental sustainability and social inclusion by providing volunteering opportunities for all.We have been tucked in between a busy railway line and one of Edinburgh's main arterial roads for 40 years, a little piece of the countryside right in the heart of Edinburgh. Gorgie City Farm is run as a working farm, our animals are bred and raised for food production , we bring the sounds, smells and sights of rural Scotland into the city.
