gotoClassroom is a classroom management platform inspired by the ecosystem found by smartphones. We created the infrastructure for content providers such as software developers --especially teachers, students, parents themselves-- to supply solutions towards deficits in education. Our vision is to create a new ecosystem for education.gotoClassroom hosts the basic tools -- assignments, live discussions, quizzes, calender, gradebook, attendance and library-- for teachers to build and manage their own classroom quickly, for free. For a more customized experience, users may find and utilize additional tools from gotoClassroom's App store. Each user has a Dashboard which not only manages the classrooms but also provides an important networking tool. This Dashboard allows teachers, parents, and students to exchange in ideas and opportunities. Furthermore, users can design their own unique branding by creating an online portfolio and/or resume hosted under an individual web domain name
