Started in 2013 as a small student run project, with just a handful of students and children, we are now working with young people across the country challenging political apathy, encouraging intergenerational discussion and providing political education for all. We work in Universities nationwide to offer the opportunity for passionate, considerate and proactive students to volunteer to teach in primary and secondary schools in their local University area. Teaching from a variety of modules, developed exclusively by us, we aim to educate young people up and down the country to concepts that matter, in exciting and innovative new ways. Our project is mutually beneficial. Children across the country from Key Stages 2 to 4, with a range of backgrounds and abilities, are exposed to some of the most important concepts needed in order to be a citizen. Students are able develop valuable life skills, contribute to their communities, apply their studies in a practical environment, and improve their employability in an exciting and thoughtful way.
