GP Originals is dedicated to period, racing specification two-stroke Grand Prix motorcycles from 1970s-early '80s. Specifically 250cc and 350cc machinesThis period was an exciting time for motorcycle Grand Prix – probably the last era when privateers had a genuine chance of mixing it with works bikes. GP Originals was inspired by the motorcycles featured in the Hailwood Trophy – a prestigious motorcycle race held at the Goodwood Members' Meeting. Our Series is open to Grand Prix machines only: 350cc up to 1981 and 250cc up to 1984.Our aim is to encourage top class racing with timed qualifying and good length races, held at the best UK circuits. We offer an extensive prize fund worth over £18,000 designed to benefit every rider throughout the field, including cash awards down to 5th in both 250 and 350 classes, cash down to 3rd for the Masters.
