MissionGrace Lutheran School was organized in 1908 under Pastor E. Zucker. School sessions were held in a wing of the church until 1916 when the school had to close because of the lack of children. In January 1948, Grace Congregation decided to re-open a school beginning with a single Kindergarten class. The following year Grade One was added, with an additional grade added each year. The original school building was erected in 1951 and dedicated on January 13, 1952. The largest addition came in 1977 when a gymnasium, offices, kitchen, library and classrooms were added. "In January of 2007 an early morning fire caused $250,000 in damages, necessitating the remodeling of the music room, library, and gymnasium.Grace Lutheran School is a part of the largest Protestant school system in the United States. A network of Lutheran schools operated by the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS), congregations provide a Christian education to early childhood through secondary students. The Red River Lutheran School Association owns and operates Grace Lutheran School. Six LCMS congregations in the Fargo-Moorhead area formed the Association in January of 2004.We thank and praise God for the spiritual blessings He has bestowed on our school, and for sustaining it these many years. We pray that He will continue to bless our efforts as we spread God's Word to His children."
