Grace's Place is all about the kids. We exist to prevent child abuse and neglect – and all children are welcome in our homes.Our facilities are state licensed emergency shelters, for children ages birth to 18-years-old. Being licensed matters – we maintain the highest standards of care for the safety and wellbeing of children in need.We provide care when families are encountering any situation which could lead to loss of employment, loss of shelter or a child's basic needs going unmet – in addition to any situation that could potentially lead to a child being abused and/or neglected. Our services are always free.Established as a non-profit 501(c)3 in December 2010, we opened our first location in Washington, Missouri, where up to six children, ages birth to 12-years-old, could receive 24/7 care for up to 30 days at a time.
