Many subsistence farmers in India are not getting the margins that they deserve due to exploitation from middlemen and low demand from village markets. GRANE's mission is to help these farmers achieve long-term sustainable economic growth, without having to rely on subsidies or price floors. We equip farmers with critical organic farming techniques to produce high-value crops and create a supply chain to connect farmers to premium markets, where consumers are increasingly demanding organic products. Technology is key to our success, and GRANE is creating a data collecting and analytics system to enable a modernized distributed rural supply chain. We currently partner with Ekal Vidyalaya, a prominent NGO dedicated to providing primary education and integrated village development in rural and tribal India, and all of our proceeds currently will go to support their mission of village development. We are planning to sell organically grown turmeric powder grown in Jharkhand and Meghalaya, and chili powder grown in with a release planned for Q4 2021. Stay tuned!
