GrantPA is an online platform that connects artists with opportunities that support their growth and success. Our vision is the be the most resourceful platform for artists. Our mission is to connect the artists with opportunities that help them grow and succeed. Our core value is to lower the barrier and increase access to grants in Arts, Culture, and other sectors. This will lead to more opportunities for artists who have the skill and ambition but are daunted by the challenges of keeping track of and applying to the multitude of opportunities available.Our alpha website attracted more than 1000 users in less than 3 days. We are currently serving 3,000 beta users. This positive initial reception and the support that we've received from artists around the world fuels our determination to create the easiest, fastest, and most convenient system for finding and applying for grants.Grantpa has attracted acclaimed artists, successful cultural entrepreneurs, and key players in the industry of Arts and Culture. The current board of advisors that will support us as we move forward includes:- Yo-Yo Ma, Silkroad- Alicia Adams, The Kennedy Center for Performing Arts- Homayoon Beigi,Columbia University and Recognition Technologies- Nicolas Chbat, Columbia University and Philips Research North America Moreover, GrantPA has been selected for the TED Fall residency program and featured on TED.com - "Why Must Artists Be Poor?" TED Talk.
