Grasp Food is a concern of Grasp International Ltd. Grasp International started in 1991 by Mr. Philip Adhikary. He started by purchasing lands in the ruler areas, where he predicted the future expansion of the Dhaka City. In 1997, company got involved in the construction business and the company began to bid successfully for larger scale projects in the land and also in the construction business. In 2000, the company's management came to the conclusion that the firm had grown larger enough to register the company with the Bangladesh Government. The decision was undertaken immediately and registered as Grasp International Ltd. on December 14th, 2000. In the following year, Grasp created a brand new target market to the middle class customers. In 2004, the company had grown sufficiently to alter its primary target market segment from land development and construction to higher margin commercial and residential construction segment.
