We are a diverse team of developers, educators and researchers who believe that learning math should be focused on beautiful ideas and useful mindsets and approaches. Our main solution is Graspable Math (GM), a digital, gesture-based algebra notation which we developed based on decades of cognitive research and multiple classroom studies. In GM, math symbols are not static scribbles on paper, but tangible objects that students can click and drag to transform mathematical expressions. This mode of interaction is engaging and provides immediate feedback and support for learners.
