The Gravity Discovery Centre and Observatory is a fun, interactive way to explore science, astronomy, aboriginal culture and cosmology. Located just over an hour north of Perth, in pristine WA bush-land this is an experience not to be missed. You can climb the 45 metre tower and do the Galileo gravity experiment, play with the exhibits in our galleries, gaze at the stars in our beautiful dark skies or explore the walks on-site. Co-located with the 'real science' of UWA's OzGrav gravitational wave detection research centre, and the Zadko and Falcon research telescopes, there's plenty to inspire. Aboriginal artwork and Astronomy nights showcase our oldest living culture and the Cosmology gallery tells the story of how the universe was formed. With a Cafe on-site too, this is a great family, science buff, school or just curious day out.
