Welcome to Great Totham Cricket Club. We are a village cricket club located in the heart of rural Essex and we pride ourselves on being a sociable and friendly sports clubs welcoming all to try out the great game of cricket!Our 1st and 2nd team play at Bull Meadow and have done since 1870, making us over 150 years old. Our 3's play down the road at Great Braxted CC which is over 250 years old. That's quite some history, and you can read more about it in our history section on our website!Today, we provide cricket for all ages and abilities, with our four senior teams competing in the Premier, Fourth and Ninth Division of the T Rippon Mid Essex Cricket League, and Division 2 of the North Essex Cricket League. Our juniors start from age 5 with All Stars Cricket, before leading into ability-based training sessions led by our team of ECB Level 2 qualified coaches, headed up by Paul from Bear Coaching. We've recently started Girl Power Dynamos Cricket, for girls aged 8 to 11, aiming to provide a better opportunity for girls to take up our great game. Competitive hardball junior cricket is available at various age groups We actively encourage our colts to play in our Third and Sunday XIs to continue their cricketing journey surrounded by others of a similar age. GTCC is proud to be an England and Wales Cricket Board Clubmark Focus Club which confirms our commitment to being a safe, effective, and child-friendly cricket club.
