That's why we signed an historic devolution deal with the government, taking charge of the £6bn spent on health and social care in our ten boroughs. We also got an extra £450m to transform our public services.Having taken charge of our own health and social care spending, we're now working together to improve the health, wealth and wellbeing of the 2.8 million people living here.We are the Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership.The Partnership is made up of our local NHS organisations and councils, as well as people from NHS England and NHS Improvement, our emergency services, the voluntary sector, Healthwatch and others including the mayor of Greater Manchester.
