Paducah Economic Development is the economic development agency for Paducah and McCracken County, Kentucky. It is a public/private partnership formed to attract and grow jobs and investment through assisting existing business with expansion projects and recruiting new businesses. Paducah Economic Development owns or controls three separate business/industrial parks, totaling over 2,500 acres in Paducah/McCracken County. The parks are all different in nature featuring an office park, distribution park, and river site with dual rail access. In addition, Paducah Economic Development promotes private property throughout McCracken County for job creation projects. Paducah Economic Development has a $1.4 million budget, four full time staff members, and an ombudsman to assist companies with permitting applications at the city, county, and state level.
